- Fixed automatic rejoin never firing when the app came back from the background: the logic only ran at startup, so returning from the recent-tasks list stayed disconnected while entering again by hand worked. It now runs both at startup and on resume, with an explicit-exit flag so leaving on purpose does not trigger a rejoin.
- Fixed the volume-up key doing nothing while the app was open: the background key handler consumed the press before the UI saw it, so push-to-talk could not be started or stopped from the foreground. The background path now yields whenever the interface is visible.
- Screen-off push-to-talk is more reliable: a new silence check ends the transmission shortly after the key is released, instead of waiting for a release event many devices never deliver; a one-time prompt also offers to enable the accessibility service so the volume-up key can start and stop PTT (shown once, and available later from the About screen).

- Fixed three separate defects that could stop the background service when the screen went off or the app was swiped away — the cause of the endless “reconnecting” status and the dead lock-screen volume key.
- Added start-on-boot and an overlay-permission step, so the app can bring itself back and start the service from the background.
- The keep-alive guide now checks the notification at channel level and shows the detected device model, and a new health panel shows how long the service has been running and whether heartbeats are still being sent and received.
